Understanding the Analytics tabs
In short
Analytics has five tabs, one date range and a small i beside every figure that explains it.
Open Analytics in the admin menu, under Analytics & Operations. The tabs are Overview, Sales, Usage, Activity and Momentum.
Pick a period at the top right: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Last year. It applies to every tab.
Click the small i beside a figure to see exactly what it counts.
Read the arrow under a figure. It compares this period with the one before.
What each tab is for
Overview: revenue, sign-ups, enrollments and active learners on one board.
Sales: how much you earned and which products sell best.
Usage: whether learners are making progress in your courses.
Activity: who came back, and a feed of what learners did.
Momentum: streaks, points and the leaderboard.
Good to know
Only admins can open Analytics. Instructors and other roles cannot.
Learning time is an estimate, not a stopwatch. It adds up the length of the lessons people finished.
The date buttons do not change the Momentum tab. It follows your leaderboard reset setting.
