Which reminders do learners get before a session?

In short

Learners get an email when you schedule a course session, and webinar sign-ups get reminder emails.

There is no separate countdown email for a course live session. The email above is the announcement.

  • Live session email

    Sent to enrolled learners when you schedule a new session for their course, with the next scheduled run, up to a day later. Sessions that already existed are not announced.

  • Countdown and Join now

    The learner's Live sessions page counts down to the start. Join now switches on 15 minutes before.

  • Webinar registration confirmed

    Sent right after someone registers for a webinar.

  • Webinar reminder

    Sent to registrants about a day before the webinar, and again shortly before it starts.

Good to know

  • Each learner gets each email once.

  • Turn any of them off in Email Settings, and change the wording in Email Templates.

  • Dates in the emails use your academy's time zone.
