Explainer
Which lesson types can I use? (video, rich text, PDF, quiz, assignment, live session)
In short
A chapter can be video, audio, PDF, rich text, quiz or assignment, and live sessions have their own block.
A course is built from sections, and each section holds chapters. When you add a chapter, you pick its type.
Video
Upload a video file for learners to watch in the course player. The upload box shows the largest file size allowed.
Audio
Upload an audio file.
ExampleA recorded lecture.
PDF
Share a PDF that learners read in the lesson.
ExampleA workbook.
Rich text
Write the lesson in the editor, with headings, images, tables, callouts and checklists. Type / to add more blocks.
Quiz
Pick a quiz or create one. It completes the chapter when the learner passes, so it counts toward progress and the certificate.
Assignment
Pick an assignment or create one. Learners submit their work for you to review.
Live session
Not a chapter type. Add it with Add live session in the Live Sessions block at the bottom of the curriculum.
Good to know
A new chapter opens with Video selected. Pick another card to change it.
