How can anyone verify a certificate? (QR)
In short
Every certificate has a QR code and an ID that anyone can use to check it is genuine.
When a learner finishes a course that has a certificate, they can download it as a PDF. Each certificate can be checked online.
QR code
Printed on the certificate next to "Scan to verify". Scanning it opens the verification page.
Verification page
Shows "Certificate verified", who it was awarded to, the course, who issued it, the date and the certificate ID.
Certificate ID
Printed at the bottom with the verify address. An ID that does not exist shows "Certificate not found".
Share link
Learners can copy a link to their verification page from their certificate page.
Good to know
Anyone can open the verification page. No sign-in is needed.
Turn the certificate on in the course's Certificate tab, where you also pick the template, logo, signature and author.
A learner gets the certificate only after they finish the course.
