How do I make a coupon that ends at a set time?
In short
Give a coupon a countdown after the learner uses it, an end date, or both.
Open Coupons, click New coupon, then fill in the code and the discount.
Choose an Offer timer: 5, 8, 10, 15 or 30 minutes.
Or set Valid through so the coupon stops on a date.
Click Create coupon. A timer shows as a chip, such as 10 min offer.
How the timer works
The clock starts when a learner first applies the code, and a countdown shows at checkout.
Each learner has their own clock, and applying the code again does not restart it.
When time is up, the full price applies. A payment already started keeps its discount.
Good to know
Valid from and Valid through work on dates. Use the timer for a short, urgent offer.
