What happens at the end of a trial or a failed payment?
In short
An unpaid academy locks but nothing is deleted, and paying opens it again straight away.
Trial ends with no plan
The academy locks at once. Admins see the plan picker, and learners see a notice.
After a trial
By default you get an email on day 0, a warning on day 3, and the academy is archived on day 5. Deletion is never automatic.
Failed renewal
A red banner with Update card shows on every admin page, and you get a "Plan payment failed" email. A later successful charge puts the plan back to active.
Plan ends or is cancelled
The academy locks when the paid period ends. In the last 24 hours a banner shows how many hours are left, with a button to Billing.
Paying fixes it
Choose or pay for a plan and the academy opens again at once, even after the day 5 archive.
Good to know
TEACHNIQ can give a failed renewal a few extra days, 0 by default. The red banner then shows the date access stops.
