Confirmations: why some actions ask a math question
In short
Some actions ask for a quick sum first, as a pause to stop a slip rather than a security check.
You type the answer yourself. Pasting is not allowed.
Why a sum
Actions that remove things or change who can do what ask for a quick answer, so a stray click cannot do it.
Who and access
Changing a role, deleting several people at once, and removing someone's access.
Course content
Deleting a chapter or a section. Deleting a whole course always asks.
Your setup
Removing a tracking ID, cancelling a plan, deleting a live session or removing one of its dates.
Good to know
Open Settings, Confirmations and use the switch Ask before deleting a chapter or section to turn the question off for chapters and sections. It is on by default.
