In short

The security certificate is not ready yet: add both DNS records, wait, then check the SSL status.

Visitors see a security warning when your domain has no certificate yet. Certificates are issued and renewed for you once the records are in place.

Still stuck? Send TEACHNIQ support your domain and the status shown on the Domain tab.

  1. Both records: at your domain registrar, add the CNAME and the second record shown under Settings, Integrations, Domain. The second one lets TEACHNIQ issue your security certificate.

  2. The spelling: the records must match the domain you added, for example learn.yourbrand.com. Use the copy buttons.

  3. Give it time: DNS changes take minutes to a few hours, and the certificate follows.

  4. Check SSL status: press it. "SSL certificate is active" means you are done. Otherwise it shows the SSL status and any problem. If the second record is missing, pressing it brings it up.

  5. Connect: when the status reads Verified, press Connect. It then reads Connected.

  6. Free trial: connecting a custom domain is off during the trial.
