Using the question bank across courses

In short

Write a question once in the question bank, then use it in as many quizzes and courses as you like.

The question bank is one shared list for your academy. Find it under Quizzes, then Question bank.

  • Add once

A question you write inside a quiz is saved to the bank too. You can also upload many at once from Excel or Word.

  • Reuse it

In any quiz choose Add questions, then Pick from question bank. Filter by subject, topic, type, difficulty or tag.

  • Draw at random

Ask for "8 random Hard Physics questions" and each learner gets a different set.

  • Set marks per quiz

Marks and negative marks you change inside a quiz apply to that quiz only.

  • See where it is used

The Used in column on the question bank shows how many quizzes use each question.

Good to know

  • Editing a question changes future attempts only. Past results keep the version learners saw.

  • You cannot delete a question that a quiz uses. Remove it from the quiz first.

  • Export, edit and upload again: rows that keep their ID update the existing questions instead of adding copies.
